Hochbaustudio
The “Hochbaustudio”. Together with Ines Fritz & Romana Suitner, I created a huge city hall for modern music. We decided to reject the task of building 3 single spaces, each capable to house 3000 people. Concerning the fact that modern music has a pretty small audience in Vienna we did not see the need for this attempt. Instead, we thought it might be better to have space that is undeterminded and may form by its needs. The site was devided by a street, and bridging this gap offered us the topsurface as an additonal space. +
Vectorice
Using Vectortools for fast visualizations, designs & a unique look, is very intuitive. It is completely different from using Pixel or 3D Tools, which tend to predefine the output. +
Kitchen
A few years ago, my girlfriend and I designed a concrete-steel kitchen for our appartment. With a concrete topboard and a steel frame with plastic drawers (which we collected throughout vienna) it’s look is industrial but serves our needs for an easy working area. +
Hunting
While working for driendl*architects I mainly worked on 2 Exhibitions. A hunting museum in Styria and an longterm exhibition showing the Esterhazy Collection on Burg Forchtenstein. I was responible for most of the project management, internal and external communications. (Pics comming soon!) +
Lala is a lamp
Using industrial items as part of a design is not new; however I found out that my plastic-colorprints perfectly fit onto these boxes. +
Blitzviz
I have been doing visuals for a few years now, so it was only a question of time, when a band, and I mean a f***ing live-band, asked me to do visuals for them. Doing visuals in a club is totally different than doing visuals for a band. A band is an organic body that moves just the way you walk through the world. Sometimes, from one moment to another you change your mind and cross the street, although you don’t have too. Especially with these people, doing visuals is more than a job. +
Caml
I often work with concrete on personal projects. I like the surface of a rough made concrete object. It is not totally predictable in it’s look, and btw. it is cheap and easy to make on your own. I improved this lamp by using epoxy. +
Gbl
I designed this university project by using parametric methods. I used a Flash-Prototype which I made, to enter parameters like traffic, sun,… in order to get a rapid digital prototype of this building. I was not able to tunnel this information to a 3D application so I just used the raw data. Then I proceeded to the next level and made the rest of the design decisions on my own. +
Logos are the word
Designing Logos is always a great pleasure to me. Everytime you have to find this certain moment when your and your client’s expectations and needs meet. Sometimes a Logo must fit into an enviroment where it has to work under different applications, the next time it has to work for print only. +
Para
University project situated in New York/ Coney Island. This was part of the design for a cultural center. I decided not to stay on the site, but to enlarge the radius of influence, that this institution could have. A multifunctional, easy to move item, that may house all the basic needs of culture. The creatures serve as eyecathers and icons, which attract people even if they are to far away to see the actual building. Watch the movies to get an impression of how this tool may work! +
Property
01 02 03 04 These photos are part of my private research on architecture as a product. How can existing enviroments be used as inspiration? What does a living room need to be recognizeable as such? How does an economic and consume focused society influence a long term development of architectural design strategies and practices? +
Retouché!
While working for driendl*architects, a fantastic architectural office in vienna, led by awe-inspiring Georg Driendl, I created this drawing, which was then used for the competition (we won!). I recreated the whole 3d-model to increase renderspeed and made a sudden “seasons” change in 2D.

Another Hell!
Voronoi & Delaunay…I hate those guys! I’m a bit despaired AND confused as well. I re-connected to a lot of people&old friends that seemed to be lost in the past during the past couple of days through FACEBOOK. ANd I am starting to organize a reunion party for my sixth form graduation class of ‘99. And since this theory is true I also stumbled over other people from my past. But re-connecting to them is kind of impossible. I either was a real asshole, or this is just the way it goes… 07.11.2008
